Job Purpose:

You will support the DACH Legal & Compliance Director, at strategic and operational levels, for the proper execution of the KKI Compliance and Privacy Programs. You will provide compliance support and advice to DACH employees, as guided by the DACH Legal & Compliance Director, so that the wider cross-functional business can achieve its goals in an ethical manner.

 

The role is hybrid with our Dusseldorf, Germany office

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides sound advice and guidance on Compliance/Privacy matters in day-to-day activities;
  • Under the supervision of the Legal & Compliance Director, implements processes and mechanisms to ensure that ABAC and Code of Conduct requirements are adhered to;
  • Supports the proper implementation of, and adherence to, GDPR-related requirements;
  • Supports Transparency Reporting activities, as required and in collaboration with Local Data Collection Resources;
  • Supports the Third Party Oversight (TPO) process;
  • Provides updates and training to support adherence to internal and external requirements;
  • Interacts with third parties (regulatory authorities, industry self-regulatory bodies, stakeholders, customers, external experts), as required;
  • Undertakes Compliance Monitoring activities;
  • Supports the implementation of a comprehensive Policy and SOP framework;
  • Champions and strengthens a visible Compliance culture in the Cluster;
  • Fosters cross-functional collaboration with the business and KKI’s Legal, Compliance and Privacy Team and other relevant stakeholder(s).

Qualifications

  • Excellent local language skills;
  • Good English language skills (oral and written);
  • Experience gained in a similar compliance/privacy role within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector;
  • Excellent technical compliance skills in the areas pertinent to the life sciences/pharmaceutical sector;
  • Demonstrated experience identifying and resolving compliance issues quickly and effectively;
  • A demonstrable track record of executing a Compliance Program, or elements thereof, with focus on business partnering, ethical mind-set and optimising processes;
  • Expert knowledge of relevant local Code(s) of Practice and good working knowledge of EFPIA code.
