Job Purpose

To grow the commercial business with a clear focus on delivering sales, return on investment and hitting commercial KPIs across DACH Cluster Leadership team, Regional functions and with other Regional Commercial peers. Driving and sharing best practice across the DACH Patient Journey function. Responsible for coaching, leading and managing a team of Patient Journey Directors.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for critical decision making relating to business planning and execution to meet the commercial goals of the cluster
  • Key contributor to cluster cross-functional strategy, refines strategy through insight gathering, cross-functional collaboration
  • Responsibility for contribution to Cluster P&L through delivery of cluster revenue targets, and effective budget management
  • Overall responsibility for the deployment of Regional Strategy and Cluster Patient and Customer Plans (PCP), via management and coaching to the Patient Journey Directors
  • Consolidate, prioritise and co-create initiatives with a network of peers and team members to address unmet need in disease management across the patient journey
  • Build and maintain a highly proficient, scientifically literate, engaged, and enabled team, through performance management, continuous coaching and development

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • Master's or degree in natural sciences or similar
  • Significant experience in pharmaceutical sales, key account management, and management of commercial or medical teams, ideally in senior leadership roles
  • Experience coaching, developing and motivating senior sales leaders across a national or multi-country scope
  • Experience influencing, managing, and/or leading cross-functional teams (Marketing, Medical, Sales, Access, etc) in pharmaceutical matrix organisations
  • Knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas (Haematology, Oncology or Rare Disease experience beneficial)
  • Extensive knowledge of local, regional, and national health systems and care delivery processes
