Job Purpose:

The role requires a subject matter expert on regional and national Health Technology Assessments (HTA)/reimbursement submissions, pricing solutions and responses to HTA agency questions for each rare disease product, are high quality, strategically aligned and optimised to support access and reimbursement. This role is accountable for both launch and early pipeline products.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate expert knowledge on Payer Value and Patient Access, pricing and reimbursement for Nordics and Baltics
  • Lead governmental engagement plans cross-functionally with public affairs manager/director supporting the region
  • Lead development of HTA submissions to obtain successful recommendations nationally by working closely with internal stakeholders
  • Work closely cross-functionally to drive reimbursement submissions and implement public affairs plans for Nordics and Baltics
  • Lead pricing negotiations with national or regional authorities with relevant value strategy across the rare disease portfolio
  • Cross-functionally working with medical function on evidence generation plans for the region
  • Deliver health economic and real-world evidence data collection, analyses (including models) and support to articulate the products value to payers

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading Payer Value and Patient Access initiatives in industry
  • Very good understanding of the Payer Value and Patient Access environment, mainly in Sweden and Finland and payer needs
  • Strong HTA submission background with Nordics HTA agencies (TLV etc.)
  • Governmental engagement experience within the region
  • Strong strategic commercial insight through developing national Payer Value and Patient Access strategies in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Health Economics background
  • Extensive and up to date knowledge of the local healthcare environment regulations, policies and procedures
