Job Purpose

Provide global strategic leadership for the ERP landscape (Microsoft D365) and all associated integrated planning applications (e.g., Control Tower, APS and S&OP platform tools). This role ensures a seamless connection between global planning processes and ERP execution, enabling harmonised, data driven decision making and end to end supply chain visibility across all regions.

  • Governance of ERP & Planning Platforms
  • Leadership of Global ERP & Planning Programmes
  • Business Partnering & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Provide architectural oversight for ERP, planning systems, data hubs, integration layers (e.g., Azure, Dataverse), and data exchange pipelines.
  • Ensure that planning simulations, scenarios, and forecasts remain aligned with ERP transactional data.
  • Act as a data SME for ERP data and be primarily point of contact for data and reporting Global ICT & ODX teams translating business requirements in system and data understanding.
  • Ensure stability and resilience across the entire application landscape, maintaining a platform that can adapt to evolving business needs and market conditions while supporting the seamless integration of newly acquired or pipeline assets, services, and innovations.
  • Direct global ERP planning and execution processes, identifying and implementing improvement opportunities. Drive a ‘right first time’ approach that eliminates waste, maximises efficiency, and supports cost optimisation in collaboration with regions and suppliers.
  • Ensure common processes, disciplines, systems and KPIs across the Supply Chain function by leveraging D365, O9 / Kinaxis, Tagetik, SQL, and Power BI to enable best practice operating efficiencies.
  • Ensure all systems comply with global ICT governance, cybersecurity controls, validation requirements (e.g., GxP where applicable), audit standards, and regulatory expectations.

Position Requirements

  • Extensive experience leading and operating within global ERP environments, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Supply Chain professional with experience working across global ERP platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP).
  • Strong end to end supply chain knowledge, including Procurement, Manufacturing, Planning, Distribution and Logistics.
  • Commercial and cross functional business exposure preferred, gained through practical experience or formal education (e.g., MBA).
  • Proven track record delivering large scale ERP and integrated planning system programmes (e.g., o9, Kinaxis, APS).
  • Experience working in multi region, multi functional global enterprises, ideally within life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated industries.

Technical Skills

Deep understanding of:

  • ERP execution processes (OTC, P2P, MRP, production, finance, inventory, warehousing).
  • Integrated planning domains (demand/supply planning, S&OP, scenario modelling, capacity planning, network planning).
  • Master Data Management (MDM), data lakes, integration patterns (APIs, event driven architecture, batch vs real time).
  • Cloud platforms, analytics, and digital supply chain technologies.
  • Excellent global stakeholder engagement and executive communication.
  • Strong ability to lead cross regional teams and drive alignment across ICT and business functions.
  • A degree of flexibility needed with regards to rare occasions where working late/early might be required
